"I don't know why I need, a new suit, Captain." Kror said in deep bass voice.

"Because, contrary to your beliefs, you have increased your mass in the last 20 years, My Friend." T'Lisa said.

"Captain, you wound me." Kror said in faux anguish.

T'Lisa just raised her eye brows. He was definitely getting into the dramatic literature, she'd been teaching him.

Soon, the arrived at an establishment Sartorial Splendor, T'Lisa led him inside.

On the racks were clothes in a myriad of colours, styles, and fabrics.

The Captain spotted a mauve coloured gown made of an Andorian material. Beautiful, and hard waring.

Kror looked around aimlessly, these clothes, although well made, would not fit his frame.

"Lady T'Lisa, Mister Kror," came the voice of an young Andorian woman of about 18 or 19 years of age. Even she wasn't sure. But that's another story. The woman appeared from behind the two Starfleet officers as if out of nowhere. If she made a sound when she approached, the two officers didn't hear it. "Welcome to Sartorial Splendor. I am Viza, apprentice to master weaver and master tailor Thavas Th'Omtala, owner of this fine shop and creator of much of the clothing you see here. Further, if you do not see something that suits you, we can do bespoke work."

"Thank you, Viza." T'Lisa said. "The clothing is beautiful. My friend here, requires a new semi formal suit, as he has out grown his former one."

"I must admit the Captain is correct." Kror simply said.

Viza looked the ursinoid up and down. "Yes," Viza said. "We can help you, but I believe a custom piece might be best. Please, come this way. I will measure you and then he who is my master will consult on a new suit for you. Please, follow me."

Kror looked back at T'Lisa. "Go ahead, Kror, I'll look for something for Jena or Yvette."

Kror followed Viza further into the shop.

When they got to the fitting room, Thavas was waiting for them. "Ah, Mister Kror," he said. "Welcome! While Viza measures you, why don't you tell me what colors you're interested in. Mind you, Omtalan fabric, which is all we use, has unique properties. In particular, it tends to appear to be different colors, depending upon how the light hits it, the point of view of the person looking at it, and the weave of the fabric. So perhaps select two or even three colors that might interest you."

"My clan's colours are light green and purple." Kror said. "My suit should be in those colours."

"Excellent," Thavas said heading out of the fitting room. "I'll be right back. Viza, if you would?"

"Of course, Master," Viza said. "If you would please, Mister Kror, stand straight, with your arms at your side? Excellent, thank you." Viza scanned Kror. "Now, if you could raise your arms? Just like that, thank you." Viza scanned Kror again. "Perfect. You can relax now. My master will return shortly."

Thavas returned just as Viza finished speaking. "Here we are," he said. "I've brought a few different options. Let me lay them out for you." Thavas lay each sample of fabric on a lovely table that went well with the Earth 'Second Empire' decor. "Feel free to touch them and move them in the light and look at them from different angles so you can get the full effect. I've selected fabrics and weaves that will be both comfortable and sturdy enough for you."

Kror examined the fabric samples. Checking their colours, feel and sturdiness.

"Share your thoughts on the matter at hand, my ursinoid friend," Thavas said. "Does one or another speak to you? Do several?"

"I like this one." He said. Holding up a purple fabric. "The colour and sturdiness are right, but I dislike the feel." Holding up another, this one green. "This one has the colour and I enjoy the feel, but I feel it is not sturdy enough, perhaps it could be used for the lining."

The green was actually much sturdier than it seemed. If it wasn't, Thavas wouldn't even use it as a lining. But Kror didn't need to know that. It wasn't that the 'customer is always right'. It was more a matter of 'the customer doesn't always need to know when they're wrong', especially when they were half right. The green would, in fact, make a nice lining. "Excellent," he said, nothing in his voice, mannerisms, facial expressions, or body language betraying his internal monologue. "Do you have any thoughts on the style of suit?"

Kror produced a PADD and handed it to the tailor. It was an image of his formal Ursanoid clothes. "I'd like a less formal version of that." He said.

Thavas took the PADD and looked over the image. "Perfect," he said. "Send me the image and I'll put something together for you."

"Of course." Kror said an sent a copy of image to the tailor's nearby device. "How long will it take to make the suit?" He asked.

"I'll try to get it done in two weeks, but it might take as many as four," Thavas said. "How long will you be in port? Will you be coming back this way? Is this your normal patrol area? Or are you setting off on a deep space survey?"

"At this time, we'll be in port for another two weeks, our ship's crew are aiding in repairing the Station, while our ship's in drydock." Kror said. "There is no rush, we have been assigned to patrol this and surrounding systems, so we'll be around."

"Excellent," Thavas said. "We'll be able to take our time with attention to detail. So, is there anything else we can assist you with? We'll look at accessories once we have the suit on you, so no need for that now."

"Good. Thank you, Mr. Th'Omtala." Kror said. "Ateet ver Rha, that is 'Until we meet again', in my language.

"Ateet ver Rha, Mr. Gar'Rel," Thavas said. "It was a pleasure to meet you and do business with you."
