Physical Description		Leslie is average height, but can be perceived shorter than he actually is. He has a tendency to stand a little slumped. His voice is gruff and shows the years of age. His hair is jet black but is graying at various points. His eyes are the deep black of his race, and when one looks closely at them one would see small silvery swirls. He keeps himself scruffy, as he always has a five o'clock shadow.

General Overview		Leslie, or Billy as he prefers to be called is a take no nonsense kind of person. His personality has been honed over centuries of military service. He first began his military career for the United States Office of Naval Intelligence during World War 2. He has served continuously in the military ever since then. He is fiercely loyal and very often will employ rather unorthodox methods when set the task of training someone. In his Starfleet career as a Data Analyst he often draws on the centuries of knowledge to decipher the probabilities. Whenever he is asked how he can compare ancient intelligence gathering with the new, he simply replies "It is the oldest of tricks being performed in the newest of ways." He has three major quirks, the first is a hatred of his first name, and the second is his corncob pipe. The pipe was given to him by US General Douglas MacArthur. He smokes it often... His third quirk is his use of the ancient salute...

Hobbies & Interests		Leslie enjoys telling stories of the ole days, a good bottle of scotch, his pipe, playing chess, horseback riding, and attempting to get Vulcans to smile. He also enjoys talking about the two people that has always looked up to General George Patton, and General Douglas MacArthur.

Personal History		Not much is known about Calhoun's early life. Leslie was born on El Auria the El Aurian homeworld sometime in the Earth year of 1896. He lived there happily with his family on and off until he decided to settle on Earth permanently in the year 2250. In 2265 the Borg killed most of his family and everyone he knew when they destroyed El Auria. An event that he has never forgiven himself for missing. An event he hopes to rectify one day. He managed to escape the Borg, however, both of his parents were assimilated. Once he mourned sufficiently he continued to visit new worlds increasingly becoming enamored with the Federation. He spent his time in Federation Space on Earth learning all he can. It is here that he used his history in Intelligence gathering to learn all he could. It is because of this interest Billy decided to enlist in Starfleet, again. He never wanted to be an officer, in every event that he served it was always as an enlisted man. In September of 2367 he would be sworn in to Starfleet for what would be his third time. Basic Training was done on Earth. His bunkmate was a human named Trevor and they got along famously. They spent many night exchanging stories. This was something that Leslie did not know he craved. Simply the ability to share the centuries of knowledge that he had. Due to his previous lifetimes of knowledge in intelligence. Billy was sent to Starfleet A and C school for data analysis and intelligence gathering. He was also given courses in Starfleet tactics. During the next two years Billy would come to specialize in information gathering, and asset handling. He found that he also had a head for strategy and leadership. In January of 2370 Calhoun is given the rank of Crewman and appointed as a Data Analyst aboard the USS Tudor. In July 2370 Calhoun received his first real promotion, for valorous service to the USS Tudor. He was given the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class. To this day he has not forgotten that first promotion. He was also given a new position aboard the ship, that of Strategic Analyst. Billy's time aboard the Tudor would become some of the most memorable as he received accolade after accolade. In 2374 he was granted the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class in honor of lives that he had saved during the Dominion War. His service aboard the Tudor until 2375. In 2375 the tensions in the aftermath of the war ran high. The El Aurian was a sought after for his centuries of intelligence skills. Leslie was transferred to the USS Sutherland to serve as a Decryption Specialist. In 2377 he would receive yet another promotion for valorous service, this time to the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class. In 2382 at the request of Captain Timothy Jenkins of the USS Churchill Calhoun was granted the rank of Chief Petty Officer and transferred to the Churchill for service as Jenkin’s’ Yeoman. It seems that Starfleet had seen the leadership qualities in him and wanted to train him for command. The position of Yeoman would be best suited for this. During his time on the Sutherland he exhibited a good head for leadership, and a lead by example mentality. He believed that a person should be broken down and then built back up in the image of the fleet. Fate would step in for him in 2387. He was assigned to the USS Tomahawk as a Combat Tactics Specialist. Leslie credits this time in his career as an eye opener. It showed him how to manage people. Using them for their talents, instead of their assigned positions. This is something he uses to this day to help him as a leader. In July of 2388 Calhoun is sent to Earth to teach at Starfleet Intelligence B School. He quickly gets a reputation there as a no nonsense instructor. However, his recruits would die to serve under his command. During his time as an instructor he receives a promotion to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. Five years later Billy would have another good change to his life. This change was his promotion to Master Chief Petty Officer. This promotion was granted in return for his training in Command procedures. It is viewed as a stepping stone into the Command structure of Starfleet. Along with the promotion came a return to the position of Captain's Yeoman. This time aboard the USS Crane serving under Captain Dakoda Leigh. This final stepping stone of sorts taught him the methods in which to command an actual starship. Leslie was given Bridge clearance and took the ship on various missions. Now, Calhoun approaches the position where he feels he can do the most good. The position of Command Master Chief. The senior most enlisted man aboard a starbase. This position is on the edge of space aboard Deep Space Five. Billy is ready for this responsibility. The question is if the crew of the station is ready for him.
